Jumped on the XM bandwagon
Today I became one of the 1.3 million XM subscribers.
I’ve considered XM off and on for months but never got it because I just don’t listen to the radio and I didn’t think XM would be that much better. When I’m in my car I listen to MP3s exclusively on my capable car stereo and when I’m at home I have winamp.
Earlier today I was over at tivocommunity.com and saw a posting about a CES release that TiVo and XM are going to work together and expand the TiVo Home Media Option.
That rekindled my interest and I consulted google for XM sites. I came across xmfan.com and spend a few hours there.
Between them and xmradio.com and the announcement of them going 100% conmercial free as well as the addition of channels sold me.
I ordered a XM PCR and should have it this Wednesday. The PCR is the cheapest way to give XM a trial. If I like it I’ll probably get the XM tunder for my XM read car stereo. If I don’t, well, back it goes or to ebay.
